The Founder

Najwa Dahdah is the founder and owner of Empowered Child Care Consulting, Inc. (ECCC), a childcare training and consulting company.  Created in 2016 in response to a need for professional development for human service workers, ECCC prepares childcare professionals and Center Directors to better serve children, families, and the community.  Najwa is a bilingual (Arabic and English) childcare expert with over 19 years of early childhood work experience in both home-based (family and group) and center-based programs.

As one of Metro-Detroit’s outstanding spokespersons for children, Najwa has partnered with community-based organizations to improve childcare by providing evidence-based, culturally competent education.  Prior to working in early childhood education, Najwa enjoyed a successful career in banking management for 7 years where she excelled in operations (e.g. policy development and implementation and recording keeping).

Najwa earned an associate of applied science in child development from Schoolcraft College, a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education from Rochester University, and a Master’s of Arts in Early Childhood Leadership/Administration from the University of Michigan Dearborn.

Fadwa Murdaah, M.Ed .

Adult Education Coach - Bilingual Expert

Fadwa Murdaah, M.Ed. Lead CDA Trainer Adult Education Coach (English/Arabic) Fadwa Murdaah, M.Ed., brings over twenty-five years of experience in education and teacher training, with a strong foundation from The American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon. A seasoned Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Assistant Professor, she has worked extensively with adult learners, developing culturally and linguistically responsive programs in various topics that support English language acquisition. As a passionate advocate for early childhood education, Fadwa proudly joins Empowered Child Care Consulting as Lead Arabic CDA Trainer, where she is excited to support Arabic-speaking adults in becoming qualified, and culturally and linguistically responsive educators. Her deep commitment to children, families, and communities shines through in her work—helping future educators embrace their cultural identities while preparing to serve bilingual children and diverse learning environments.

Senior Arabic Translator/Editor Certified CPR/First Aid Trainer

Said Dahdah is a proud member of a dedicated team that provides tremendous service to the community. He also contributed to the creation and growth of the Welcoming Empowered Network.

Mr. Dahdah holds a CDA in preschool, bilinqual CPR trainer, and a senior Arabic Translators/Editor. Takes pride in the journey of over 25 years in ECE by supporting bilingual communities through translated materials and resources that can set them up for success.

We are most proud of the hight quality translation that Mr. Dahdah has provided to various reputable organizations in the ECE proffession.
